Sunrise As The Snow Melts is an abstract take on a mountain landscape. I have used spray paint, acrylics and texture gels to illuminate the expansive feel of the melting snow that has partially revealed the green underneath and the light of man-made structures. The light reflected off the piece changes depending on where you stand to view the painting as some areas are matt others glossy, textured and metallic. The piece is completely instinctive and is not representative of a specific place, that is the choice of the eye of the viewer.
